Our Story

In the heart of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, The Tin Bin is located in a house dating back to the 1700's and a barn dating back to the 1800's.

What began as a hobby for James and Jo Ann Lutton, quickly blossomed into a family business. Unfortunately, Jim died in 1995 and their daughters, Susan and Sally began helping out alongside their families, eventually becoming co-owners. Jo is still seen pouring wassail at our annual open house and loves chatting with our guests. She also enjoys volunteering at Hospice, among her many other interests and is enjoying retirement!

If you ever have a chance to visit beautiful Lancaster County and our surrounding Amish country, please plan to stop by our shop to see our tin lighting, folk art, primitives, candles and home decor in person!

Thank you for over 50 years! We appreciate you all!
